On a much brighter note, POMHA's President, Al Zinz was honored by the AMHA at the recent Annual Convention in Lexington, Kentucky.  He, along with 7 others, was awarded a 2009 Master's Certificate.  This award is given to individuals older than 60 years of age who have been active with Morgan horses in a variety of ways.  Congratulations to Al.......
     There was a Memorial Celebration of Jim Stewart's Life held on Saturday, March 27 in Medina, Ohio.  I understand it was attended by a large number of Jim's friends who shared many good times and stories.  He's probably sitting up there right now in a Park buggy just smiling.....
     For those of you out there wondering if you should get involved with these new committees, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?????  It's your Club, come to the meetings, listen, ask questions, give suggestions.....Things, they are a changing....However, it takes suggestions before changes can happen...

Meeting schedule:  The 2nd Saturday of most months, location to rotate between Perkins in Meadville and Frankie's in Hubbard, Ohio.  The next meeting will be 4/10/10 at 6 p.m. at Perkins in Meadville (committees will meet at 5 p.m.).  The meeting for May will be 5/08/10 at 6 p.m. at Frankie's in Hubbard, OH (again, committees will meet at 5 p.m.).  There won't be a June meeting unless necessary, and the July meeting will be held at the Show, on Thursday evening, just before the Welcome Party. 
    Come to a meeting, share your thoughts, help direct the Penn-Ohio Morgan Horse Club.
